21 day itinerary + 2 travel days

Due to Covd-19 I could not find any flights from Thailand to Omaha anytime in the foreseeable future, so I have used the information from my airfare.htm with dates that have already passed.

2 04/08/2020 Total Round-Trip Cost: $813, Cost From Airport to Hotel: $2 via Bus Travel from Omaha to Bangkok (Due to Time Change, Time arrived would be 11pm on 04/08)

This is the Baron Zotel Hotel and is $8 a night.

3 04/09/2020 The entire day will be about $6 for travel by taxi. For the first day I chose the Wat Arun Buddhist Temple and the Siam Paragon Mall, to get a better understanding of Thailand's Culture. Both are free to visit.
4 04/10/2020 The entire day will be about $10 for travel by public transport. The second day I chose the Chao Phraya Boat Ride and The Grand Palace as both are very popular with tourists! The Grand Palace is free, however the boat ride is about 20 baht or 0.62 US cents.
5 04/11/2020 Total Cost will be about $17, with $6 for a taxi between the hotel, the park, and the train station and $11 for the train. This day will start in Bangkok with a walk around Lumpini park, and end with a 2 hour train ride to Nakhon Nayok This is the Field Town Hotel and is $18 a night (and also the most expensive out of all the hotels I chose).
6 04/12/2020 The bus from the hotel to the National park is about $2, so total will be about $4 for the day. The first day in Nakhon Nayok will be spent hiking at Khao Yai National Park. The entrance fee for the park is about $12.
7 04/13/2020 Cost for the day would be about $8 by public transportation between all of the places The second day in Nakhon Nayok will be spent exploring Nature again with the Namtok Sarika Waterfall and the Bamboo Grove, both are free to visit.
8 04/14/2020 There would be no travel expense for the day as the Nang Rong Falls are within walking distance of the hotel. The 2nd to last day will be spent entirely at the Nang Rong Falls, where one can swim in small pools to cool off from the heat and enjoy the nice views and strole through the forest near by.
9 04/15/2020 Cost would be about $2 to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport, and $17 for the flight, so a total of $19. The last day in Nakhon Nayok will be spent roaming the main part of the city, within walking distance of the hotel, before a 1.5 hour flight to Chiang Mai. This is the Sunshine Hotel, and is $10 a night.
10 04/16/2020 A bus from the hotel to the park averages about $2, so in total is would be about $4 for the day. The first day in Chiang Mai will be spent at the Doi Inthanon National Park, which is a long hike up to the top but has a gorgeous view and garden to explore. It costs about $9 to get in.
11 04/17/2020 A taxi between all of the places adds up to about $6. The 2nd day in Chiang Mai will be spent firstly at the Cat Cafe, before going to the Bai Orchid and Butterfly Garden! The Bai Garden is about $1 to enter, and the Cat Cafe is free to enter (if you don't get anything to eat or drink).
12 04/18/2020 Travel Cost about $10 The last day in Chiang Mai will spent entirely with a Long Neck Karen tribe, where day long group tours are available for about $9.
13 04/19/2020 Train Ride is $12.96, and the taxi to the train station is about $2. Travel to Surat Thani. The total train ride is about 22 hours, so that is the activity for the day. Sleep on Train
14 04/20/2020 A bus from the hotel to the beach is about $4, so it will be about $8 total. The first day in Surat Thani will be spent in a more relaxing fashion, on the Khanom Beach, where it is free to visit. This is the Khao Sok Palmview Resort (right outside of Khao Sok National Park) and is $10 a night.
15 04/21/2020; No travel needed, as hotel is so close to park. The 2nd day in Surat Thani will be spent exploring Khao Sok National Park, with an entrance fee of about $9.
16 04/22/2020 A taxi between all of these places adds up to about $10. The 3rd day in Surat Thani will be spent exploring the Sonchana farm and elephant sanctuary in the morning and the Tham Khao Wang Thong (a cave formation) in the afternoon. The cave formation is free to visit however the farm is about $12 or more depending on what all one wants to see and do.
17 04/23/2020 Cost for the day will be about $4 by bus. The last day in Surat Thani will be spent at the Ang Thong National Marine Park, which costs about $9.
18 04/24/2020 Cost for the day will be about $9, with $7 for the train ride and $2 for the taxi the station. Travel to Bangkok. While this train ride is a little shorter, it's still about 10 hours so this the activity for the day. Baron Zotel Hotel, the same one as the beginning of the trip.
19 04/25/2020 Cost by bus will be about $4 round-trip. The 1st day back to Bangkok will be spent at the Dusit Zoo, that also contains a museum and education center, and costs about $5 to enter.
20 04/26/2020 ABout $4 for traveling. The 2nd to last day in Thailand will start off with a trip to The Bangkok National Museum, and end with the Chatachak Market. The market is free to enter but the musuem costs about $5.
21 04/27/2020 About $4 to and from the floating market and about another $4 for exploring. The last day in Bangkok will be spent at first exploring the Damoen Saduak Floating Market and then exploring the main city of Bangkok before heading home. Both activities are free.
